Zhongshan Hill Scenic Area is one of the 44 Scenic Areas promulgated by the State Council. It is situated on the north-eastern suburbs of Nanjing, with Zhongshan Hill and Xuanwu Lake as its focus. Here the hills are green, the water clean, and hills, water and the buidings are blended as one, grandiose, magnificent and spectacular, a must-see in Nanjing for tourists from home and abroad.

Ming Tombs, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Celestial Valley Temple, Guanghua Pavilion, Music Terrace, Liuhui Pavilion, Memorial to Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Sun's Tomb on Plum-blossom Hill, Twin-tomb for Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning, Zhongshan Botanical Garden, Fore Lake, Red Cloud Lake, Uprightness Pavilion for Chiang Kai-shek's Tomb Site, Zijinshan Observatory, Xu Da's Tomb, Chang Yuchun's Tomb, Li Wenzhong's Tomb, Cemetery for Aviation Martyrs, Dinglin Villa, Xuanwu Lake, and so on.
